Neon-style rope lights with app, music sync, and voice control keep showing up in bedroom and gaming-setup makeovers. The Reddit clip that caught our eye is the flexible strip people bend into shapes behind a desk or bed.
What Makes It Stand Out
This Luminus WiFi flexible neon strip (about 5m) works with an app and music rhythm modes, and it’s compatible with Alexa/Google-style setups. It’s the closest Amazon UK match we found to the RGBIC neon strip videos.

Real Talk
“RGBIC” branding isn’t always identical across listings, so check length and power supply before you buy. Adhesive and corners can be fiddly. For a bright neon look without glass tubes, these strips are why the trend stuck.
WORTH IT IF
- You want custom neon shapes without custom glass
- You like music-sync lighting
- You’re okay installing a long strip carefully
SKIP IT IF
- You need permanent architectural lighting
- You hate fiddly adhesive installs
- You want a single fixed colour only

Medium-confidence match to the viral neon strip — great vibe lighting if the length and app features fit your room.
